A stone bathtub is the largest single piece we carve. It comes out of one block, which means the block has to be sound the whole way through and large enough to lose most of its mass to the hollow. We select for that at the quarry, not at the factory.
The result is a tub that holds heat far longer than acrylic or cast iron and reads as one continuous piece of stone. These are specified most often for hotel suites, spas and private residences, and they are quoted per piece against your drawing.

Yes. Each tub is hollowed from one block of stone. Nothing is bonded or assembled, so the veining runs continuously around the form.
